"The Charm of Serenity" is a visual art feast that uses diverse materials to explore the inner emotions of women. As a female artist, the creator seeks a language to precisely capture and express the unique, delicate emotions and aesthetic charm of women. Through mixed media art, the exhibition breaks the limitations of traditional art forms, presenting feminine softness and beauty in a three-dimensional and diverse way.
Wu Yongxian, pen name Meow Meow Sing, was born in Hong Kong in 1984 and later moved to Macao. She studied in southern England from the age of 15, completing a Foundation in Art and Design at Falmouth College of Arts at 17. She began her BA in Illustration at the University of Plymouth in 2003, graduating in 2005. She is skilled in mixed media and enjoys a dreamy artistic style. Her works are diverse, colorful, and often feature figures, reflecting her childlike and imaginative personality. She held a solo exhibition "Painting – Life" at the Old Ladies' House Art Space in 2021 and participated in a duo exhibition "Embrace the Rainbow" in 2022, among other group exhibitions.
This exhibition is part of the 2025 Artist-in-Residence Program. Art lovers and the public are cordially invited to visit.
