Introduction

Located in the basement of Taipa Central Park, the library began trial operations on April 15, 2015, and officially opened on September 1 of the same year. With a total floor area of 2,200 square meters, it is currently the public library with the largest usable space for readers in Macao.

The library features extensive use of transparent glass doors and windows for its partitions, significantly enhancing natural lighting inside.

It is divided into four main areas: a Reading Area, Children's Library, Newspaper & Periodicals Area, and an Audio-Visual Room. Facilities include a Children's Theatre, an Outdoor Garden, a Multi-function Room, a Baby Care Room, and a Self-service Book Return Station on the park level.
