Exhibition Overview
"Sunny & Kuan: Cats and Dogs" is a joint oil painting exhibition featuring approximately 40 works by local artists Cheong Wo Chan (Sunny) and Wong Siu Kwan (Kuan). The exhibition centers on the theme of cats and dogs, aiming to promote the concepts of animal welfare and respect for life, encouraging thoughtful consideration before adopting a pet.
Featured Artists
- Cheong Wo Chan (Sunny): A local painter who recently left his career to pursue art full-time, fulfilling his dream of oil painting. He has been dedicated to sketching and oil painting for years, with his works selected twice for the All-Macau Painting and Calligraphy Joint Exhibition. He also creates animal-themed comics published in the magazine Mind2.
- Wong Siu Kwan (Kuan): Known by the pen name "老作," Kuan is a longtime friend and colleague of Sunny. A comic art enthusiast, he has created in his spare time for years, publishing a personal work Comics·Misc and winning the Macau regional championship in a Hong Kong-Macau illustration competition. His works have been selected for the All-Macau Painting and Calligraphy Joint Exhibition and the Macau Art Biennial.
