Macau is home to many accomplished watercolor painters, and Lai Ying is one of them. These artists rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 20th century. Their works not only depict facets of contemporary society but also express the reality of local residents' livelihoods and capture unforgettable scenes of Macau. Some of Lai Ying's works were previously featured in the Macao Museum of Art's exhibition "Changing Landscapes – Watercolor Paintings of Macau from the MAM Collection." This solo exhibition presents a more extensive collection of works by this local artist.
