2024 marks several significant anniversaries in China's scientific and technological history, including the 65th anniversary of the discovery of the Daqing Oil Field, the 135th anniversary of Li Siguang's birth, the 60th anniversary of China's first successful atomic bomb test, the centenary of the births of Deng Jiaxian and Zhu Guangya, the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the National Top Science and Technology Award, and the 105th anniversary of the births of award winners Wu Wenjun and Huang Kun. While these milestones have different historical contexts, the spirit they embody transcends time and space, inspiring generations.
To commemorate these achievements, the China Science and Technology Museum, in collaboration with the Macao Science Center and the Macao Association for Science and Technology, presents the "Starry China, Sci-Tech Future" series exhibition. It tells the stories of scientists and technologists who dedicated themselves to the great cause of serving and strengthening the nation through science and technology.
