Exhibition Overview
In line with the 2013 policy direction of "encouraging diverse life experiences and enhancing the creativity and innovation capabilities of youth," the Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) presents "Soul – Duo Art Exhibition by Tan Jianbin and Tan Zequan" from February 5 to 24, 2013.
About the Artists
- The exhibition features works by two brothers, Tan Jianbin and Tan Zequan, who are secondary school students in Macao with a passion for artistic creation.
- Since childhood, they have loved reading and painting, participating in numerous art competitions both within and outside their school and winning several awards.
- Their interest and passion for artistic creation have not diminished despite the pressures of a busy academic schedule.
- Under the careful guidance of their school art teacher, they have diligently studied various artistic media, including ceramics, sculpture, and glass.
- Through this exhibition, they aim not only to showcase their creative journey and achievements but also to gather feedback to further their artistic development.
About the Youth Art Gallery
- For each exhibition, participants are assisted, guided, and encouraged by the gallery staff in tasks such as exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and installation.
- This process fully embodies the gallery's mission: to provide a space for youth to exhibit and perform, showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence.
