To implement the 2012 policy of "continuing to provide more opportunities for youth to participate in artistic activities," the Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau presents "Serenity – Ceramic Art Exhibition by Leong Ching Yi" from December 25, 2012, to January 13, 2013.
This exhibition showcases ceramic artworks by Leong Ching Yi, a senior secondary student from Macao. Over the years, Leong has been dedicated to ceramic art. With guidance from her teachers and her own persistent efforts, her works have matured. She believes the process of creating ceramics can transform scattered emotions into static pottery, and she hopes viewers can sense a feeling of tranquil leisure while appreciating her works.
Notably, for each exhibition, participants are assisted, guided, and encouraged by gallery staff in tasks such as exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and installation. This fully embodies the Youth Art Gallery's mission: to provide a space for young people to showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence through exhibitions and performances.
