Event Overview
How many bones are in a human hand? What is usually the longest bone in a land animal? Which animal has the most ribs? Why are birds' bones hollow?
Join us for a weekend morning of discovery! We will read the science picture book Bones together, assemble bird skeleton specimens, and listen to Sister Winter Mushroom (Wong So Ha) share her summer journey tracking the endangered Green Peacock in Yunnan.
Event Details
- Dates: November 11 & 12, 2017 (Content of both sessions is similar)
- Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Target Audience: Children aged 7–12 and their parents
- Venue: Júbilo 31 Books (G/F, 31 Rua de São Roque)
- Capacity: 6 parent-child pairs per session
- Fee: MOP 50 per parent-child pair (for Júbilo 31 Books members) or MOP 100 (non-members)
- Registration: Registration Link. Please note that registration does not reserve a spot. Successful registrants must complete payment at Júbilo 31 Books to confirm their place.
- Instructor: Sister Winter Mushroom (Wong So Ha), who participated in the 22nd National University Student Green Camp in the summer of 2017, investigating the habitat crisis of the critically endangered Green Peacock in Yunnan.

- Please notify the organizer in advance if you are unable to attend after registration.
- Fees are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation.
- The organizer will take photos and videos during the event for documentation and future promotional purposes.
