"Searching for Glaze: Hu Xianlong Ceramic Art Exhibition" presents a curated selection of nine ceramic works by artist Hu Xianlong. The exhibition showcases the beauty of glaze through various forms, including teapots, utensils, and vases, reflecting the artist's personal journey and evolving perspective on aesthetics.
Over the past three years, Hu Xianlong has dedicated himself to the life of an artist. This period of solitary research has been marked by numerous failures, teaching him that success is not a matter of luck. This understanding has made him cherish the hard-won results of his exploration even more. Every stage of the creative process—from the form and shaping of the ceramic pieces to glazing and firing—bears witness to his artistic growth.
This exhibition is part of the Macau Sculpture Society's annual Artist-in-Residence program at Fantasia 10 Creative Garden.
