Propose your artistic ideas and win exciting prizes! The "Sands China Presents: Macau Then and Now Art and Creativity Competition" is organized by Sands China Ltd., co-organized by the Macau Art Association, Macau Multi-media Photographic Association, and Macau Designers Association, with support from the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau and Macao Government Tourism Office.
The competition aims to inspire the public with an open, innovative, and exploratory spirit. Using artistic and creative methods such as painting, photography, and three-dimensional sculpture, participants are invited to create moving and beautiful artworks on the theme of Macau's past and present. The goal is to discover the city's streets, alleys, and the daily life of its citizens, showcasing Macau's cultural characteristics and social landscape.
The competition is divided into three categories: Painting, Photography, and Three-Dimensional Sculpture. Each category awards Champion, Runner-up, Third Place, and Merit prizes. A special "The Parisian Macao Art and Design Grand Prize" is also offered (entries must be themed on The Parisian Macao project, opening on September 13). The total prize pool is valued at over MOP 150,000.
