Event Overview

Following our earlier survey revealing that 95% of Macao students have developed mobile phone usage habits, it's clear that modern students cannot avoid using their phones. Over 46% of respondents occasionally prefer chatting via phone rather than face-to-face communication.

To address this, this event aims to open up the social circles of 'phubbers' (phone addicts), expand students' real-world social interactions, and encourage them to step out of their homes. By combining the popular mobile game Pokémon GO, we will lead students to a park for healthy, active fun—truly embodying 'Work Hard, Play Hard.'

Key Details

• Objective: Combat phone addiction and promote real-world social interaction among students.

Event Philosophy

This initiative seeks to transform passive, indoor screen time into active, outdoor social engagement, using a popular game as a positive catalyst for change.
