"Rebirth of the Universe — Macau Contemporary Art 20 Artist Exhibition" was a major showcase of Macau's contemporary art scene, presented at MGM Macau. The exhibition featured 40 pieces (sets) of new and existing works by twenty local artists, reflecting on the end of an era and the dawn of a new artistic phase.

Inspired by the prophecies surrounding the year 2012, the exhibition served as both a summary and a reflection for the participating artists. It explored the idea that after 2012, human civilization would enter a new stage where the frontiers of science and technology lie in spirituality. Art, as a language of love for life and a fusion of body and soul, was presented as poised for new life and development. This exhibition aimed to offer a comprehensive contemplation and display of Macau's art at this special historical moment.
A diverse range of mediums was presented, including oil paintings, watercolors, sculptures, photography, and installations. Some works were created specifically for this exhibition, while others were carefully selected from the artists' past creations.
