Event Overview

To promote the Lingnan cultural heritage of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and enhance the appeal of public reading initiatives, the Macao Public Library under the Cultural Affairs Bureau is participating in the "Reading the Greater Bay Area" 9+2 Cities Reading Journey book recommendation campaign. The campaign highlights two key recommended books: Literary Landscape and The Little Prince.

Exhibition Details

• Period: January 26 – April 21, 2021
• Admission: Free
• Content: The Macao Public Library has selected approximately 60 books from the recommendation lists of public libraries across the Greater Bay Area. Combined with over ten sets of local literature donated by various libraries, the touring exhibition features around 80 books. The collection is diverse and rich, including:
  • Master classics
  • Local culture and landscapes
  • Fiction and literature
  • Children's books and picture books
  • Historical biographies
  • Philosophical theories

Touring Schedule

The exhibition will be held at the following public libraries:

• Sir Robert Ho Tung Library: January 26 – February 17
• Patane Library: February 19 – 26
• Macao Central Library: March 1 – 17
• Taipa Library: March 19 – April 7
• Seac Pai Van Library: April 9 – 21

Visitors are welcome to view the exhibition during regular library opening hours.
