The Chinese Scientists' Spirit Exhibition Hall, located within the Macao Science Center Exhibition Centre, is now open to the public.
Exhibition Features
- Format: A multimedia interactive exhibition using precious images, videos, stamps, manuscripts, scientist wax figures, theatrical guided tours, and instant photo opportunities with scientists.
- Theme: Showcases the contributions of scientists from various historical periods since the founding of the People's Republic of China, highlighting their efforts in promoting national independence, prosperity, and the well-being of the people.
- Macao Section: A dedicated area introduces the research directions and achievements of Macao's State Key Laboratories, allowing the public to gain a comprehensive understanding of the advanced technologies and leading figures from both the nation and Macao.
- Highlight: Features lifelike wax figures of five renowned scientists for visitors to take photos with:
- Qian Xuesen, "Father of China's Aerospace"
- Yuan Longping, "Father of Hybrid Rice"
- Nan Rendong, "Father of China's Sky Eye (FAST)"
- Hua Luogeng, "Father of Modern Chinese Mathematics"
- Zhao Zhongyao, "Pioneer of Chinese Nuclear Physics"
- Additional Media: Animated videos are played beside the wax figures to introduce the remarkable deeds of these scientists.
