Following the successful staging of the children's dance drama "Postmodern Cinderella" last year, the Macau Children's Art Troupe presents another meticulously crafted large-scale children's dance production. This dance drama features over 400 troupe members, including students and teachers aged 3 to 24. Many of these young performers have won gold and excellence awards in national and Macau-wide dance competitions. They have also represented Macau at events such as the Spring Festival Gala, International Children's Art Festivals, and World Expo cultural exchange performances in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, earning them the reputation as "little angels promoting Macau."
Adapted from the popular TV series "Princess Huanzhu," this production is under the artistic direction of Troupe Leader Liang Jiandan. She leads the troupe's teachers in a collective creative effort, employing innovative techniques to blend Chinese classical dance, folk dance, jazz, and children's dance. The aim is to create a high-quality children's dance drama with distinctive Macau characteristics.
