Renowned as the 'Sugar King of China,' Chinese fondant artisan Zhou Yi presents his first solo fondant sculpture exhibition in Macau. The exhibition features five large-scale, Macau-exclusive fondant sculptures, each over two meters tall. It innovatively blends food craftsmanship techniques (such as dough modeling, sugar art, and fondant) with artistic processes (such as painting, spray painting, and carving) to create a cross-disciplinary fusion. The works multi-dimensionally interpret the themes of 'celebration' and 'etiquette' in Chinese culture, narrating life stories and customs.
A mini-theater performance titled 'The Radiance of the Sun and Moon' is set up on-site, interacting with the fondant artworks. Performed by local professional actors, it tells the story of a Guangdong poet traveling through Macau during the late Qing and early Republican period, enriching the visitor experience.
