The Education and Youth Affairs Bureau's Youth Art Gallery will host the "Order – Art Exhibition by Lu Yongshi and Ye Xiaojing" from February 6 to 25, 2018.
The exhibition features illustrations by two senior high school students, Lu Yongshi and Ye Xiaojing. Their hand-drawn works use vivid lines to depict the rhythm created by the interplay of people and scenery, forming a unique world that differs from reality. Visitors can appreciate both their individual pieces and a collaborative work presented as a continuous narrative, portraying life in a city and its surrounding countryside within this alternate world.
A notable aspect of the gallery's exhibitions is that participants, with the assistance, guidance, and encouragement of the gallery staff, are involved in the entire exhibition process—from preparation and promotional material design to installation. This fully embodies the gallery's mission to provide youth with a space to exhibit and perform, showcase their talents, share creativity, and foster creative thinking and self-confidence.
