About the Exhibition

The "One Plus One" is an Art in Residence and Cultural Exchange programme. It aims to strengthen creative and artistic exchanges between Macau and overseas artists, and to expand the local and international art exchange platform.

Every two years, Art For All Society (AFA) selects one representative artist from Macau and one from overseas to cooperate with an overseas art institute (from Mainland China, Hong Kong, or abroad). The selected artists conduct a residency for artistic creation, followed by a joint exhibition at a local gallery. The following year, the same two artists conduct the programme in Macau with a subsequent exhibition.

For this edition, the AFA representative artist is Leong Fei In (Macau), and the Beijing representative artist is Zhang Xinjun.
