Exhibition Overview

To celebrate the 84th birthday of Nobuyoshi Araki in May, a joint Hong Kong and Macau event presents over 200 of his classic works in various formats as a tribute. The Macau solo exhibition will be held at the Artelli multi-dimensional experiential art space.

Exhibition Highlights

The exhibition opens with a series of Araki's photographic creations from the 1990s to his recent years, focusing on the theme of "Flowers." It spans multiple series including "Women," "Private Photography," and selected works from "Erotos," offering a direct look into the sincere emotions of the photography master.

A hidden "Safelight Darkroom" area is set up, allowing visitors to glimpse into Araki's photographic desires.

Note: The "Safelight Darkroom" area is open only to the public aged 18 and above. Personal identification must be presented upon entry.

• Fujifilm Experience Zone: Features FP-Z8000/FP-Z6000 projectors displaying Araki's works, providing another perspective to appreciate the master's captivating photography.
• Instax mini 99 Launch: Showcases the new instax mini 99 instant camera, updated to the highest specifications on the market after 11 years. Visitors can be among the first to experience and purchase the camera's unique 6 film filter effects.

Merchandise

Both locations will offer highly collectible artist-signed instant photo albums, as well as limited-edition Araki merchandise including candles, plates, umbrellas, and plush dolls for purchase.
