Taipa Village Cultural Association is delighted to present another spectacular exhibition this year, featuring a curated selection of artistic photography by hairstylist and fashion photographer Nino Barolo. This exhibition offers fashion enthusiasts a visual feast that seamlessly blends hairstyling and fashion.

The exhibition showcases the perfect fusion of industry and art. The works brilliantly display Nino Barolo's exceptional skills as both a photographer and a hairstylist. Beyond combining these two talents, the creation of each piece involves the full spectrum of fashion photography production, including makeup, lighting, staging, costume design, accessories, models, and the dedicated team behind the scenes. These elements breathe life into ethereal fashion shots, bursting with vibrant colors, emotion, movement, and striking visual impact.

About the Artist: Nino Barolo

Background: Nino Barolo is a Macau-born artist of Portuguese descent with a long-standing passion for hairstyling. He has won numerous awards in hairstyling competitions across Asia.
International Career: He worked in Stockholm, Sweden for one year, followed by five years at the renowned Sassoon Academy in London and four years at the Allilon Hair Education Institute. During this time, he served as a fashion stylist and Education Director, collaborating with several internationally acclaimed magazines to produce fashion video advertisements.
Creative Leadership: From 2013 to 2017, he was the Creative Director at the Debut Hair Academy & Salon in Shanghai. In 2017, he founded the hair photography education brand, Code 17.
Photography Achievements: For the past nine years, he has pursued his passion for photography. Some of his works have received international online photography awards, including the "Best Photography Award 2011/12" in The Exposure Award competition. Other works have been featured on the Italian Vogue magazine platform.
Notable Clients: He has photographed many famous celebrities, including actor Simon Callow, musician Jon Shawn, and the rock duo Soler.
