Banana is a fragrant and sweet delicacy, easily peeled and eaten. After finishing it, you casually toss the peel away... and that's how you slip up. This mirrors the collusion between government and business, quietly taking all the benefits first, then leaving a mess for the common people to deal with.
Through the character of Mr. Banana, the exhibition voices concerns about the myriad social problems arising from rapid economic development.
This exhibition is part of the 2015 Themed 4-Frame Exhibition Series. It showcases the works of cartoonist Lok (阿樂) for the month of December. Through the daily life and trivial matters of Mr. Banana, it reflects the bizarre and absurd phenomena in society.
The exhibition hall features a message sketchbook, allowing visitors to engage in on-the-spot creative exchange after viewing the works.
This exhibition is one of the activities organized by HyCom Macau Amateur Comics Club in 2015 to promote original comics. The entire 4-frame exhibition series lasts for one year, with a change of exhibition each month.
