The Mid-Autumn Festival brings a series of special events to Macau, including the trial launch of the 'Rua da Felicidade Pedestrian Zone Project' and various cultural celebrations.

Mid-Autumn Garden Party 2023

- Highlights: Traditional festive snacks, limited edition rabbit lantern giveaways for children, calligraphy and band performances.

Rabbit Lanterns – Carlos Marreiros and Friends Lantern Exhibition Part 18 (Celebrating the 74th National Day)
- Date: September 29 – October 29
- Time: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Opens at 3:00 PM on Mondays; Opening ceremony on September 29 at 6:30 PM)
- Location: Exhibition Hall A2, Albergue SCM Creative Space
- Highlights: Over 20 creative lantern artworks by artists from Macau and abroad.
- Admission: Free
"Lighting Up the Stars" – Behind the Scenes at the Planetarium
- Date & Time: September 16, 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM
- Location: Macao Science Center Planetarium
- Details: An exclusive tour inside the planetarium. Limited to 30 participants (first-come, first-served).
- Admission: Free (Registration required via the 'One Account' platform for ages 12 and above)
"Lighting Up the Stars" – Mid-Autumn Moon Gazing
- Date & Time: September 29, 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Location: Macao Science Center Seawall (near the Heart-shaped Tree)
- Details: Use provided astronomical equipment for a unique moon-viewing experience. Subject to weather conditions.
- Admission: Free (No registration required)

- The Rua da Felicidade Pedestrian Zone Project trial runs daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM, featuring cultural-commercial activities, performances, art installations, and dining.
