Spectacle Plaza: All-Day 'Action'

Spectacle Plaza transforms into a dreamy, colorful white winter wonderland, becoming the ultimate entertainment hub this season! The plaza is filled with festive decorations and large winter-themed installations. Centered around the popular seasonal sport of skiing, it features a six-meter-tall artistic landmark made from assembled snowboards, kicking off MGM Cotai's winter festivities and serving as a must-visit photo spot.

Penguins Take to the Skies

The popular Sky Ocean Show is performed daily at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 7:00 PM in the Spectacle Plaza. During winter, a new performance team—the flying penguins—joins the show, soaring under the dome. Accompanied by 360-degree ice and snow-themed animations on 25 giant LED screens, guests will feel as if they are in a polar ocean world, enjoying the fun-themed show with family and friends.

A Feast for the Senses

In the winter snowscape of Spectacle Plaza, share heartwarming festive delicacies with loved ones. Try the winter sports celebration-themed afternoon tea set and desserts, sure to tantalize your taste buds! The Spectacle Cake Shop team has crafted a series of themed pastries that not only fit the snowy theme but also feature unique flavors using winter ingredients like cinnamon, ginger, and chestnuts, immersing guests in a winter wonderland.

Winter is incomplete without a cup of rich hot chocolate. Enjoy the 'Fun Explosion Hot Chocolate' at Spectacle Cake Shop, where a chocolate ball filled with marshmallows and cocoa powder melts instantly into a velvety smooth hot chocolate drink when hot milk is poured over it. The restaurant also offers a range of festive specialties, such as classic mulled wine, creamy hot rum, eggnog, warm cheese fondue, chocolate fondue, and colorful 'Winter Holiday Donut Gift Boxes.' From Thursday to Sunday in December, the restaurant extends its hours until midnight, allowing guests to enjoy the festive atmosphere day and night.

Additionally, Spectacle Cake Shop hosts workshops every Saturday and Sunday in December (except December 26) from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Both children and adults can unleash their creativity by decorating their own donuts and gingerbread cookies. Workshops require advance booking at MOP 150 per person*; a 50% discount is available for guests who present a same-day receipt from any MGM restaurant.

Two-Hour Piano Marathon

MGM has partnered with Star Ocean Music Training Centre to present a non-stop 'Music Marathon' piano performance at Spectacle Plaza on December 26 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Forty young local pianists will perform over 30 winter-themed classic pieces, filling the air with joyful holiday melodies.

The Ski Project Pop-Up Concept Store

For the first time in Macau, The Ski Project seasonal pop-up concept store will be stationed at MGM Cotai, offering winter fashion and outdoor sports enthusiasts a one-stop shopping experience for trendy winter gear. The brand curates high-end winter clothing, accessories, boots, and more from around the world.
