About the Competition
The Macau Secondary School Stereoscopic Art Creation Competition 2022, organized by the Macau Sculpture Society, is now open for submissions. This competition, sponsored by the Macau Foundation, aims to enhance young people's passion for three-dimensional art creation and to discover and nurture local sculpture talents.
Eligibility & Participation
- Open to all secondary school students studying in Macau.
- Participants can enter individually or as a group (2-4 persons).
- Theme is unrestricted, but all works must be original.
- Works that have previously won awards in public competitions are not eligible.
Competition Schedule & Submission
Phase 1: Online Submission (Preliminary Review)
- Date: April 8–10, 2022 (All day)
- Method: Online submission for preliminary review.
Phase 2: Physical Submission (Final Review)
- Date: April 22–24, 2022
- Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Location: Macau Sculpture Society (AS Point), 4th Floor, Yau Shun Industrial Building, No. 14 Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macau.
- Note: Only works that pass the preliminary review must be submitted physically at this location for the final review.
Prizes
- Champion (1): Certificate and MOP 1,000 cash prize.
- First Runner-up (1): Certificate and MOP 800 cash prize.
- Second Runner-up (1): Certificate and MOP 500 cash prize.
- Merit Awards (20): Certificate.
Judging
Renowned artists and资深 art educators will be invited as judges. Works will be evaluated based on creativity, technique, visual impact, and form.
