About the Exhibition

In the golden autumn of November, Macau Fashion Gallery brings a series of garments from Lisbon, Portugal. These designs originate from Portuguese creativity but offer a distinct departure from traditional Western styles. The exhibition showcases the unique and vibrant creations of two Portuguese fashion designers, presenting audiences with a refreshing fashion experience.

Organized to coincide with the Ministerial Conference of the "Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries" held by the Macau SAR Government, Macau Fashion Gallery meticulously curated the "Fashion Journey: Macau-Portugal Fashion Designer Exchange Exhibition." It specially invited two Portuguese fashion designers to display their outstanding works, imbuing the gallery with the intoxicating charm of Southern Europe and bringing a novel and extraordinary fashion exhibition to the local scene.

Featured Designers

This exhibition features a total of fourteen outfits by two designers: Clara Brito from Macau and Nuno Baltaza from Portugal. Their creative styles are distinct, yet both express the bold, unrestrained, and unconventional personality of the Lusitanian spirit.

• Clara Brito: With a unique vision, she integrates the people and events of her surroundings, intuitively transforming her perceptions into creative elements. Her personal collection is characterized by direct lines and simple geometric shapes.
• Nuno Baltaza: Based in Portugal, he is influenced by both the continental European and local Portuguese fashion scenes, which sharpens his sensibilities. His clothing creations are defined by clean lines and modern silhouettes. He has received numerous awards and has been named Portugal's Best Fashion Designer multiple times.
