On the occasion of the 25th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest, the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) launched an SMS voting game to encourage citizen participation.
Key Information
- Event Dates: September 14, 19, 21, 28 & October 1, 2013
- Voting Period: Opens at 21:10 on each fireworks night. Voting closes at 12:00 (noon) the following day.
- Eligibility: All local mobile users (postpaid and prepaid).
How to Vote
- Send an SMS to 66016988.
- Type "1" to vote for the team performing at 21:00.
- Type "2" to vote for the team performing at 21:40.
Prizes & Awards
- Lucky Draw: All participants are automatically entered into a draw to win two sets of reservoir stand tickets for the 60th Macau Grand Prix (Saturday and Sunday) and souvenirs.
- People's Choice Award: The 5 teams receiving the most SMS votes will be awarded "The People's Choice" certificates and souvenirs.
