Every Saturday and Sunday in June 2013, a variety of traditional and contemporary cultural performances will be held at multiple outdoor scenic spots across Macao. Each performance lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Visitors can enjoy a diverse showcase of Macao's intangible cultural heritage, including the traditional Drunken Dragon dance celebrated by the fishing community, the highly skilled art of Chinese martial arts and lion dance, the over-300-year-old Cantonese opera, lively Portuguese folk dance, and energetic street dance performances popular with youth. Notably, the Drunken Dragon dance and Cantonese opera are inscribed on China's National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
