Overview

To commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the promulgation of the Macao Special Administrative Region Basic Law, a series of celebratory activities are being held, including this creative coloring competition for children. The competition aims to promote the Basic Law to children in Macao through an engaging activity.

Competition Details

• Objective: To introduce some articles of the Basic Law through the competition drawing paper and allow children to creatively express the prosperity and stability of the Macao SAR under its protection.
• Eligibility: Children aged 6 to 12 residing in Macao.
• Submission Deadline: March 13, 2015.
• Age Groups:
  • Group A: 6–7 years old (born 2008–2009)
  • Group B: 8–9 years old (born 2006–2007)
  • Group C: 10–12 years old (born 2003–2005)

Prizes

• Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up (one each per group): Receive a book voucher worth MOP 1,000, MOP 800, and MOP 600 respectively, along with a certificate.
• Merit Awards (12 per group): Receive a book voucher worth MOP 200 and a certificate.
• Results Announcement: The judging results will be announced on or before March 20, 2015.

• Obtain Forms: Competition rules and entry forms can be collected from the following locations:

  • Education and Youth Development Bureau Lifelong Learning Service Station – 12B Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira, Macao
• Submission: Completed entries must be submitted to any of the above locations by March 13, 2015.
