Visiting a flower market is an essential Lunar New Year tradition in Chinese communities, adding a festive atmosphere to the celebrations. The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau organizes a Spring Festival New Year Market before the holiday, featuring not only stalls selling festive flowers but also various gift stalls, snacks, and game booths, catering to all your New Year shopping needs and rewarding yourself for a year of hard work.
As the saying goes, 'firecrackers ring out the old year.' The New Year wouldn't be complete without the sound of firecrackers. You can visit the designated firecracker and fireworks zones to experience this celebratory activity. Incense and windmill stalls are set up at the square in front of A-Ma Temple, allowing you to buy a windmill to 'turn your luck' and usher in a prosperous new year.
