When ink meets life's reflections, when colors carry emotional warmth, a solo art exhibition titled 'Jia Jing · Yi Sheng' becomes a dialogue between artist Leung Ka Kit and his medium. From his doctoral supervisor's insight that 'art is the expression of life,' to his master's supervisor's observation that his works 'enter the everyday,' from his undergraduate supervisor recognizing his 'meticulous effort,' to the curator interpreting the 'Jia Jing' painting初心, the guidance of four mentors illuminates his path of exploration in art and life. He paints the withering and flourishing of seasons to convey life's rhythm, depicts mundane details to preserve the warmth of human existence, and uses pure brushstrokes to embed the belief of 'Jia Jing · Yi Sheng'.
Each artwork is an inner monologue, every hue imbued with reverence for life. Here, there is no distant artistic detachment, only the gentle resonance of 'seeing oneself in the painting.'
