Macau's young artist Hong Wai is a renowned local interdisciplinary artist, currently pursuing her doctorate in art in Paris, France. Hong Wai works in digital art and ink painting across disciplines and has held several solo exhibitions. Her ink works are unique in style. The exhibited 'Secret Boudoir' series of recent ink works reveals a mysterious femininity, full of dynamic beauty. She interprets contemporary life through ink while preserving the traditional Chinese painting aesthetics of brushwork and ink tone. Through the collection of works brought by Hong Wai this time, the audience gains a new understanding of ink painting.
