The kindest of encounters, a friendship among the stars.
A little boy accidentally discovers an old single-propeller plane and flies it on an adventure into outer space. When the fuel runs out mid-journey, he is forced to land on the Moon. In his loneliness and isolation, he encounters a lost brother—a Fire Man. Will they be able to find their way home as they wish?
Adapted from the globally popular picture book by illustrator Oliver Jeffers, Hello! Alien looks at the world from a child's perspective, retaining the humour characteristic of Jeffers' books. Through exquisite puppets and specially commissioned music, it brings children's cosmic fantasies up close.
