2017 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Series Event
In response to the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the Healthy Cities initiative, the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) and the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Macau are co-organizing the "Healthy Living Family Story Performance Competition." The event aims to unleash the creative potential of family members, working together to convey messages on drug prevention and healthy living through collaborative story performances.
Competition Details
- Format: The competition is open to all families in Macau with children from kindergarten to primary school.
- Material: Participants can choose from 10 award-winning stories from a previous creative writing competition as the basis for their performance.
- Performance: Each family has up to 5 minutes to perform the essence of their chosen story in any creative format.
Awards and Incentives
- Best Performance Grand Prize (1 winner): MOP 2,000 cash prize and a trophy.
- Best Teamwork Award (2 winners): MOP 1,000 cash prize and a trophy each.
- Most Creative Award (2 winners): MOP 1,000 cash prize and a trophy each.
- Best Healthy Living Message Award (2 winners): MOP 1,000 cash prize and a trophy each.
- Performance Allowance: All participating families will receive a MOP 200 performance subsidy on the competition day.
Schedule
- Registration Period: From now until September 10.
- Competition Date: Sunday, September 24 (afternoon).
- Award Ceremony: Will be held immediately after the competition.
- Free Workshop: To help families better understand and master story performance techniques, a free Story Performance Workshop will be held on September 10 (afternoon).
