Exhibition Overview

In celebration of Mother's Day, seven friends from Taiwan, born in the 1940s and 1950s, present their exhibition in Macau titled "Handicrafts of Feminine Wisdom – The Secret Garden of Mother and Grandmother." These Taiwanese mothers dedicated their youth to selfless sacrifice for their families. Now, they have rediscovered their creative crafts, using their diligent hands and gentle hearts to weave intricate love into their "homes," producing heartfelt handmade works.

The exhibition showcases a diverse range of artworks across various mediums, including:

• Patchwork embroidery
• Weaving
• Shell painting
• Oil painting
• Plant-dyed fabric
• Pottery carving and painting
• Papier-mâché sculpture
