Join this immersive two-day exchange tour to Guangzhou, designed for Macau youth to explore and understand the essence of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and traditional crafts.

Quota: 30 people (selection will be conducted if applications exceed the quota)

Members: MOP 150
Non-members: MOP 300
Note: A refundable activity deposit of MOP 200 will be collected and returned to participants upon completion of the tour.

Activity Objectives

Understand the essence of Intangible Cultural Heritage and its traditional crafts.
Enhance participants' awareness and interest in the conservation and development of Chinese culture and Macau's ICH.
Strengthen young people's sense of identity with Chinese culture.
Learn from the development of ICH in Guangzhou to appreciate the importance of inheriting and promoting traditional culture in Macau.

Itinerary & Activities

Visit enterprises in the TIT Creative Park.
Tour the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Center to learn about the protection and inheritance work of Guangzhou's ICH.
Explore the Dongshankou Art District and Shawan Ancient Town, visiting historical buildings, absorbing historical and cultural knowledge, and gaining a deeper understanding of Guangzhou's cultural and creative industries and ICH.
Participate in an ICH culinary workshop to make "Ginger Milk Curd" (薑埋奶), a Guangzhou specialty, and experience the hands-on production of a distinctive ICH craft.
