2021 marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China. To commemorate this occasion, the Macao Museum of Timepieces has specially designed and produced a large-scale timepiece based on a 1971 domestic mantel clock. The museum invites everyone to look back on the past and look forward to the future during this 100-day countdown.
In collaboration with the Wenzhou Chen Ruixiang Skills Master Studio, the museum presents the "Glorious Journey: Domestic Commemorative Timepiece Exhibition Since the Founding of the Nation." The exhibition features over 50 selected commemorative timepieces, including mantel clocks, wall clocks, alarm clocks, pocket watches, aviation clocks, and wristwatches. These pieces bear witness to the arduous journey and spirit of modern China's construction, showcasing the significant and meaningful styles of domestic commemorative timepieces from the 1950s to the present day.
