Fundação Oriente and Art for All Society (AFA) present the fourth edition of the annual "Autumn Salon," a significant event in Macau's art scene. This exhibition and open call platform showcases contemporary art from local artists and fosters connections between creators, audiences, and collectors.

About the Autumn Salon

After three successful years, the Autumn Salon has become a key annual art event. The 2012 edition featured 69 works from 32 local artists across various media, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, installation, and video art. The salon serves as a vital platform for artistic exchange and provides an accessible opportunity for art collectors.

Open Call for Submissions

"Autumn Salon 2013" continues its open call format to discover and promote more local talent.

• Eligibility: Macau residents or artists living and working in Macau.
• Media: Painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, installation, and video art.
• Submission Deadline: September 16, 2013 (applications and images only; no physical works required at this stage).
• Jury: Representatives from Fundação Oriente, AFA, and invited local veteran artists.
• Results Announcement: Early October 2013.
• Application: Forms available at www.afamacau.com. Submit via email, post, or in-person to AFA's office.

Fundação Oriente Art Award

To encourage young artists aged 18–35, the "Fundação Oriente Art Award" offers a one-month artist residency in Portugal in 2014.

• Prize: Total value not less than MOP 50,000, covering airfare and accommodation.
• 2012 Winner: Lai Sio Kit, who completed his residency in Lisbon.
