In line with the 2013 policy guidelines to "encourage diverse life experiences and enhance the creativity and innovation capabilities of youth," the Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau presents "Four Years, Six Artists, Seeds – Visual Art Creation Exhibition" from March 19 to April 7, 2013.
This exhibition showcases the works of six students currently pursuing visual arts studies: Zhu Jianfa, Lei Weijian, Zhang Hengfeng, Li Jiayin, Wang Lirong, and Wu Peishan. Using printmaking as their primary creative medium, they express their personal reflections on life and their thoughts on living. Viewers can sense their inner worlds through the brushstrokes, lines, and colors of the works, and appreciate different artistic styles through the overall visual effects.
The artists aim to provide audiences with a deeper understanding of art and the inner world of young people through this exhibition, thereby promoting their own continuous pursuit and exploration in the arts.
Notably, during each exhibition, participants are assisted, guided, and encouraged by gallery staff in tasks such as exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and layout. This fully embodies the Youth Art Gallery's mission to provide young people with space for exhibitions and performances, showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate their creative thinking and self-confidence.
