What was Macau like centuries ago? And what will it be like centuries from now? Emerging Macau artist Fong Chio Seng presents over a dozen hand-drawn antique maps in his first solo exhibition. The works incorporate contemporary elements, blending historical Macau maps with modern architecture like casinos, vehicles, and skyscrapers through meticulous brushstrokes. This juxtaposition of form and content explores the relationship between Macau's past, present, and future, expressing the artist's personal feelings towards his city. Five of the exhibited pieces were selected for the 2013 Bologna International Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition. After touring various locations, the exhibition concludes its journey in Macau.
