About the Exhibition

To promote meteorological science education among Macau residents, the Macao Science Center and the Macao Meteorological Society jointly present the "Floating Cloud Stories" Photo Competition Exhibition. Through photography themed around clouds, the exhibition showcases the ever-changing beauty of the sky, aiming to deepen public understanding of weather phenomena and clouds.

Competition Highlights

The "Floating Cloud Stories" photo competition, co-organized by the Macao Science Center and the Macao Meteorological Society, attracted 130 participants.
A total of 462 entries were received.

Exhibition Content

The exhibition will feature 30 award-winning and shortlisted works from both the Open and Student categories of the competition.
It will also introduce cloud classifications, photography techniques, and related popular science knowledge.
Regular STEM workshops will be held, allowing participants to use micro:bit and other components to build simple weather stations for measuring temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure, learning about weather monitoring and programming.
