Ox Warehouse presents "Fantasy · Cities · Collection," a creative photography exhibition by French artist Yves Sonolet, who has been based in Macao for almost eight years. At a time when many have become desensitized to the rapid urban development in cities across mainland China and in Macao itself, Sonolet retains a sharp artistic sensitivity. His work documents his observations while simultaneously weaving in fantastical, imaginative spaces.
The artist transforms the gallery space with images and installations. Using seemingly surreal visuals, he reflects his unique observations on Chinese cities, from metropolises like Beijing to the smaller urban landscape of Macao where he resides.
