The Education and Youth Affairs Bureau's Youth Art Gallery will present the "Encounter – Guo Hailing Watercolor Painting Exhibition" from August 18 to 30, 2015.
This exhibition features watercolor paintings by Guo Hailing, a university student studying art in Taiwan. The works encompass a variety of subjects, including self-portraits, portraits, landscapes, and creative compositions. Guo Hailing will showcase her latest and past creations as a culmination of her years of artistic study. She aims to review and refine her future creative direction through the interaction and responses generated between her works and the audience.
A notable aspect of this exhibition series is that participants, with the assistance, guidance, and encouragement of gallery staff, are involved in all aspects of exhibition preparation, from planning and promotional material design to installation. This fully embodies the Youth Art Gallery's mission: to provide young people with a space to exhibit and perform, showcase their talents, share their creativity, and cultivate their creative thinking and self-confidence.
