"Embrace the Rainbow: The Joy of First Touch" is the fourth exhibition of the "Art Power Convergence: Embrace the Rainbow" series. This duo exhibition features 12 sets of works by local artists U Weng Kam and Cheong Un Mei. Through vibrant paintings and mixed media creations, the artists aim to transmit positive energy to viewers.
A Macau-born post-90s artist, U Weng Kam graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Macao Polytechnic Institute, majoring in oil painting and art education. She loves various forms of artistic expression and primarily creates oil paintings and mixed media works. Her art revolves around the concept that "art is life, life is art" and existentialist themes. She is currently engaged in art education for children, youth, and adults at educational centers and schools.
A Macau-born post-90s artist, Cheong Un Mei graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Macao Polytechnic Institute, majoring in sculpture and art education. She is passionate about expressing personal ideas, emotions, and social/life issues through art. Her preferred forms include three-dimensional, conceptual, and interactive creations.
ARK - Association of Macau Art is dedicated to promoting art and culture. Through organizing various art activities such as exhibitions, lectures, and workshops, it aims to provide Macau residents with a space to learn art knowledge, unleash creativity, and enjoy the fun of creation.
