Workshop Details
🔵 Sea Glass Pendant Workshop

- Target: Public aged 6 or above
- Description: Create a pendant using sea glass collected from beach cleanups. Learn about the environmental condition of Macao's coastline and the importance of preserving our coastal scenery.
🟢 Découpage Glass Bottle Workshop
- Date: September 14, 2024 (Saturday)
- Time: 11:00–12:30
- Target: Individuals aged 6 or above
- Description: Learn the art of Découpage to transform an idle glass bottle into a beautiful vase or storage jar. Feel free to bring your own glass bottle for upcycling!
- About Découpage: A decorative art originating from French, meaning to cut out beautiful patterns and collage them onto household items or furniture. It originated from Eastern lacquerware techniques and spread to Europe between the 15th and 17th centuries.
🟡 Glass Bottle Lantern Workshop
- Date: September 15, 2024 (Sunday)
- Time: 14:30–16:00
- Target: Individuals aged 6 or above
- Description: For the Mid-Autumn Festival, create a festive glass bottle lantern. It's a great way to celebrate while reducing waste and emissions for the planet!
🟣 Five Senses Reading & Handicraft Workshop
- Theme: "Into the Wonderful Blue World"
- Date: September 28, 2024 (Saturday)
- Time: 15:00–16:00
- Target: Parent-child pairs (children aged 3 to 8)
- Description: Explore fascinating facts about marine life! Is the hole on a dolphin's head its nostril? Are corals animals or plants? Can flying fish really fly? Discover how marine creatures survive in the vast blue ocean.
