In anticipation of the upcoming major retrospective of Portuguese avant-garde artist Helena Almeida (1934–2018) in Macau, the Cultural Affairs Bureau presents the exhibition "Echo – Body, Object, Image." This exhibition invites six female artists—Macau artists Peng Yun, Wong Weng Io, and Chan On Kei, alongside Mainland artists Min Han, Gao Fuyan, and Sun Xiaoyu—to explore the theme of "Body, Object, Image." Starting from the body, they contemplate and deconstruct symbols, essences, and imaginations, probing the boundaries of media and the subjectivity of life. Their contemporary creations respond to Almeida's artistic concepts, constructing a bridge for dialogue.
