🎆 Temari Ball Workshop Series 🎆
Instructors:
- Yvonne Chan (陳昕宜) – Temari artist, certified by the Japan Temari Association (Basic, Advanced, and Teacher levels).
- Eva Lam (林敏婷) – Temari artist.
1. Temari Sharing Session + Experience
- Learn about the history and symbolism of Temari, tools, materials, and appreciate Temari artworks.
- Participants will experience making a Temari ornament.
- Date: Sunday, July 17
- Time: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
- Fee: MOP 75 (includes one Temari ornament).
2. Temari Workshop
- Create Temari balls by wrapping threads and embroidering patterns on a cotton sphere, symbolizing blessings, completeness, and joy. A fusion of geometric aesthetics and traditional embroidery.
- Workshop will produce four Temari pieces.
- Dates: Sundays – July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21
- Time: 2:30pm – 5:30pm
- Target: Ages 15+
- Fee: MOP 1300 (for 4 sessions).
🌸 Floral Elegance – Nagomi Pastel Workshop 🌸
Instructor: Fatima Kou (苑苑) – Certified Nagomi Pastel Instructor.
- Nagomi Pastel is a gentle art form using simple tools (like fingers) to create soft, warm, and calming artwork. This floral-themed workshop will create mandalas, cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, and peace rings.
- Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays – August 9, 11, 16, 18
- Time: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
- Target: Ages 12+
- Fee: MOP 780 (for 4 sessions).
🍦 Miniature Model Workshop – Sweet Summer Treats 🍹
Instructor: Jacqueline Sio – Experienced miniature model creator.
- Use light clay and resin clay to create miniature food models.
- Group A (Wednesday, August 10): Model Ice Cream Red Bean Ice & Waffle.
- Group B (Wednesday, August 17): Model Ice Cream Taro Ball Herbal Jelly & Mango Pancake.
- Time: 2:30pm – 5:00pm
- Target: Ages 12+
- Fee: MOP 250 per session.
