Overview

Located inside Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Park (Yap Chong Ho Park), this library was officially opened in 1996 and was established by Mr. Wong Eng Kun. It relocated to a new building nearby on January 24, 2014.

The new library was converted from a former restaurant within the park, aiming to provide citizens with a more comfortable reading environment. It covers an area of 459 square meters, offering 68 reading seats, and features a reading area, an audio-visual materials room, a children's reading area, and a newspaper and periodicals reading area. The collection includes approximately 13,682 books, 1,182 audio-visual items, 53 types of newspapers from various regions, and 105 types of magazines.
