Overview
Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção Park is a public park built in memory of the renowned Macanese Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção. Opened in 1996, it forms a continuous green space with the adjacent Ho Yin Park, both showcasing distinct Portuguese design elements. Together, they create a harmonious cross-shaped green belt with the Art Garden, connecting the New Port Area and the Outer Harbour Reclamation Area.

- Design: The park is designed like a tree-lined boulevard paved with Portuguese-style cobblestones, flanked by shade-loving plants like Brazilian Iris.

- Greenery: A variety of trees and shrubs are planted on both sides of the park.

Landmark: Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre
At the southernmost waterfront of the park stands a statue of Kun Iam (Goddess of Mercy) and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, locally known as the "Western-style Kun Iam." Inaugurated in March 1999, this two-story building includes:
- A small auditorium on the lower level.
- A ground-floor shop selling tourist souvenirs.
- An outdoor viewing platform perfect for enjoying the sea view and taking photos.
