History & Design

Originally developed as a new coastal road section in the northern district to facilitate travel between the airport and the Border Gate, the park was designed by architect Arq. Francisco Caldeira Cabral. Construction was completed in June 1998, with the official opening ceremony held on March 14, 1999.

The park stretches approximately 1,000 meters in length and is 15 to 20 meters wide. It provides a perfect setting for enjoying sea views, strolling, jogging, and relaxing along the waterfront.
