The Youth Art Exhibition Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau presents "Continuation – Ceramic Art Exhibition by Chan On Kei, Wong Hoi Yan, and Wong Bik Chui" from July 7 to 19, 2015.
This exhibition showcases ceramic works by three visual arts graduates: Chan On Kei, Wong Hoi Yan, and Wong Bik Chui. Using everyday objects as their inspiration—such as shoes, close-up plant details, and snack peanuts—they employ various artistic techniques to create a series of works. Their art expresses personal perspectives on societal issues and daily life, aiming to inspire young people to reflect on contemporary problems.
A notable aspect of this exhibition series is the active involvement of the exhibitors. With the assistance, guidance, and encouragement from gallery staff, the young artists participate in all stages of the exhibition process, including preparation, promotional material design, and installation. This hands-on experience fully embodies the gallery's mission: to provide a space for youth to exhibit their talents, share creativity, and foster creative thinking and self-confidence.
